Don't expect lots of income straight away. It takes a lot of work to start generating even a small amount of revenue. You'll need to do a lot of testing and be very patient to get the most effective placement. Otherwise, you won't make anything and at the same time, annoy your readers. Lastly, be very careful about asking people to support your site through adsense or click on ads. Google is very strict about such things and will block your account if you don't follow the rules.
